We can hardly believe the day is almost here. We are gathering the people we love most to celebrate — with sun, with song, and with the slow, golden hours of an Albanian August. Here you will find all the details you need regarding this celebration.

There is a range of rooms available, from family rooms to standard doubles. Rooms can be booked in one of two ways: if you wish to book through us, a non-refundable deposit of £30 per room is required to reserve your room. Your deposit will be applied to your room balance at the hotel — you'll settle the remainder directly with the hotel at checkout. If you wish to stay longer than the two nights, please get in touch with us directly, and your confirmation code will be issued to you. This code will allow you to amend your booking directly with the hotel, subject to availability.

Getting there

Flights & Visa

Our wedding takes us to Tirana, Albania in August 2027 — a beautiful but in-demand time of year.

Summer flights to Tirana fill up early and prices rise as the date draws nearer. We warmly encourage you to book your travel as soon as your plans allow — both for the best fares and to give yourself plenty of time to sort any visa paperwork that may be needed (more on that below).

Please fly into Tirana International Airport (TIA) — our recommended airport, and the closest to the venue. Select Hill is roughly a forty-minute drive away.

A quick guide

Do I need a visa?

Category 1 · No visa

You do not need a visa to enter Albania if:

  • Your nationality qualifies for visa-free entry — including the UK, USA, all EU member states, Australia, Canada, and many others.
  • You hold a valid multiple-entry Schengen visa that has already been used at least once, or a valid Schengen residence permit.
  • You hold a valid multiple-entry US or UK visa that has already been used at least once, or a valid US or UK residence permit.
  • You hold a 10-year UAE residence permit, valid for at least one year from the date of entry into Albania.

In all visa-free cases, you may stay for up to 90 days within any 180-day period.

Category 2 · Apply online

You need to apply for an eVisa online if:

  • Your nationality requires a visa but is eligible for the Albanian government's online eVisa system.
  • This includes nationals of Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Egypt, Morocco, India (embassy route — see Category 3), and many others. Please check your own nationality at the official link below.
  • The eVisa is an electronic authorisation sent to you by email — no embassy visit is required.
  • Processing time: minimum 15 working days, and up to 30 working days in exceptional cases.
  • Applications must be submitted from outside Albania.

We strongly recommend applying as early as possible — please do not leave this until the last minute.

Category 3 · Embassy

You need to apply through an Albanian embassy or consulate if:

  • Your nationality is not eligible for the online eVisa route.
  • Applications must be submitted in person at the nearest Albanian diplomatic mission.
For our Nigerian guests

Nigeria does not have a physical embassy or consulate in Albania — but please don't worry. You do not need to visit an embassy in person; the Albanian eVisa system is fully online and can be completed digitally from home.

If in-person consular assistance is ever needed, the nearest Nigerian embassy responsible for Albania is the Embassy of Nigeria in Rome, Italy.

Important visa notes

  • Payment for a visa application is non-refundable if the application is rejected.
  • Obtaining a visa does not guarantee entry into Albania — final decisions are made at the border.
  • Guests with dual citizenship must apply using the passport they intend to travel with — using a different passport on arrival will invalidate the eVisa.
  • All documents uploaded as part of an application must be in English or Albanian.
  • The standard short-stay visa permits a stay of up to 90 days within any 180-day period.
